Additionally, the doors must be able to open fully, and the conditions must meet the requirements necessary for proper and professional workmanship.

Can all types of work be performed within the framework of mobile service?

Not all tasks can be performed through mobile service; there are certain jobs of such complexity or seriousness that they can only be carried out under workshop conditions.

What are the costs associated with on-site repair?

Our mobile repair service involves an additional cost, which depends on the specific task to be performed and the distance to the repair location. However, repairs are possible on other areas of the windshield.

Do you offer a warranty on the repair? If yes, what does the warranty cover?

We provide a lifetime warranty on windshield repairs. If a previously successful repair performed by us does crack again, we will credit the cost of that repair toward the expense of a windshield replacement.

Is there a risk that the windshield will continue to crack after the repair?

A repaired windshield requires greater care. It should be protected from sudden temperature changes and other mechanical stress.

How long does the repair take?

Windshield repair typically takes no more than 20 to 30 minutes.

Can a cracked windshield be repaired?

A cracked windshield cannot be professionally or safely repaired.

What can be repaired and what cannot?

No two impact damages are exactly the same. Stone chips can appear in various forms—shattered, cracked, or bullseye-shaped. Our technicians can usually assess the likelihood of a successful repair just by examining the damage, though in many cases it becomes clear during the process how much repair resin the damage will actually absorb.

We believe that if the size of the damage does not exceed that of a 100-forint coin, it is definitely worth attempting a repair to give the chance of avoiding an immediate windshield replacement.

Will a repaired windshield pass the vehicle inspection?

A professionally repaired windshield should not cause any issues during the vehicle inspection.

How long is the warranty on the replacement? And what does the warranty cover?

According to Government Decree 249/2004 (VIII.27), we provide a 6-month warranty on the installation and on defects not caused by breakage, as per Government Decree 117/1991 (IX.10). To claim the warranty, presentation of the invoice, warranty certificate, and the warranty sticker affixed to the glass are required.

Can you wait on-site while the repair or replacement is being completed?

In most of our workshops, there is a customer waiting area equipped with Wi-Fi, so you can certainly wait on-site until the repair or replacement is completed.

Is it necessary to apply for a new registration sticker after the replacement? If yes, what is the procedure?

Officially, the registration sticker cannot be transferred to the new windshield. The vehicle owner can have it replaced at a government office (kormányablak) upon presenting our invoice.

What should be kept in mind after the replacement (e.g., washing, parking, general use)?

Post-replacement precautions vary depending on the installation technology used. For older vehicles with rubber gasket installation, the car can be used immediately after the windshield is fitted as intended. However, modern bonded installations require more careful attention.

After bonding, it is generally recommended to avoid high-pressure washing of the glass and its surrounding area for 24 hours. Additionally, strong body flexing or twisting should be avoided—for example, unilateral lifting of the car or driving onto curbs should be prevented.

How long does the replacement take?

The duration of a windshield replacement depends on the car brand and the windshield’s equipment features. It can take up to 3 hours, but for higher-end models equipped with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), it may take up to 5 hours. This time also includes the curing period of the adhesive.

How long does the replacement take, and how soon can you assist with it?

The duration of a windshield replacement depends on the car’s make and the windshield’s equipment features.
